The Propaganda of Few Anchorpersons Against Pakistan Army and Achievement of Waqt TV in Unveiling a Fake Story...

 This is 8:30 pm of 1 June’s night, a famous anchorperson (Hamid Mir) presents a young man in a very dramatic way, in order to further dramatize the whole interview the face of the youth is censored, only his sound is played. He was telling with a mournful sound that the planning of attack over PNS Mehran was done in his presence in a house in Rawalpindi. The sorrow in his voice was showing that he has been forced by his conscience to bring forward a big reality in front of world. But he was sorry that he did not disclose this before attack over Naval Airbase, perhaps in this way Navy would have been able to save its precious lives and equipment. Crying youth told that the planners were no one else but our own people from Pakistan army, including a Colonel, a Major, and other officials.

                If we see the above conversation in the lieu of attack over Mehran base, this was a great and dreadful disclosure, which has shocked whole nation, now no one can save our nukes from falling into American hands. Because this has been proved that within Pakistan army there are such extremists who have deep links with Taliban and Al-Qaeda, who can anytime take over Nuclear assets and force the whole world towards destruction. The same jargon was being repeated by Indian and western media for last two decades. Young man also informed anchorperson about more of such upcoming attacks. While in contrast there is such an efficient security system within Pakistani army that even 40 or 50 men cannot plan a rebellion.

                After telecasting his conversation with the alleged youth, anchorperson turned towards the guest participants of the program (Including Aasma Jahangir and three other members of senate) and questioned them, can they guarantee the life of the young man? The guests who were in shock after hearing the whole conversation were not ready to extend any guarantee, moreover after going on wave of terrorism and disclosure that Pakistan army itself is involved in terrorism who can guarantee it (except Aasma Jahangir)? Because the young man himself was saying, “they are very cruel, and will kill me”, he was pointing towards officers of Pak-Army. In the other words, this program was only to support Indian and American media so that their propaganda against our nukes can be provided ground (verily sponsored by terrorist agencies of these countries).

                However only after two days, Waqt TV Channel showing dutifulness as a national TV Channel disclosed the facts behind story of the TV Channel working for AMAN KI AASHA. Waqt TV channel proved that the story told by the above mentioned channel by bringing forward the young man who had told that story. That young man confessed, “I loved with a girl but her brother Arshad working in Pak-Army as Hawaldar had become a hurdle in their marriage. Therefore, for this in hatred against Arshad I went to such limit and a told self made story. I had only one purpose that Arshad gets arrested and is tortured, I hope till now he would have been too much tortured”.

                Now analyze this situation with a cool mind that after interview has been telecasted on 1 June, if terrorists or anti-Pakistan elements had kidnapped or disappeared the above mentioned youth sick in love, try to imagine what would have been situation now? On the death of Journalist Saleem Shehzad there are just accuses against ISI, but here in case of that youth there was no place for any doubt. His interview and the program of 1 June was enough for evidence. In this way with the struggle of Waqt TV two truths were reveled, one that story of 1 June is based upon lies, to verify this story was the duty of the concerned anchorperson and administration of the TV channel. Secondly in present situation many TV channels sponsored by anti-Pakistan forces telecast all the stories without verification just in order to get ranking from their sponsors and in the name of free media. No matter their fake story hurts integrity of the country. We have heard that love befools many but what about a well educated, so called intellectual, professional and trained person who do such like things without taking care of the results, this can be only seen on Pakistani private TV channels.

This Interview published in Dawn was made a reason by USA to attack Afghanistan, Look here Hamid Mir has greater height than Osama Bin Laden while actual Osama had a greater height as compared to Hamid Mir...

                Including Afghanistan our region has not been able to come out of the affects of an interview of Osama bin Laden on 10 November 2001, which was done by a famous anchorperson published in famous English daily. In this interview, Osama has claimed that he has nuclear and biological weapons, which will be used against USA. The day of publishing of above interview was much important, on 10 November in Rabat the Foreign Ministers of Muslim countries have gathered to stop American attacks over Afghanistan. They had lent time from USA for one week so that they can convince Mullah Umar either to hand over Osama to US or expel him from country. After the above mentioned interview was published US said it has to protect its citizens in spite of fulfilling its promises. In this way from the evening American started carpet bombing over Afghanistan and murdered thousands of men.

                We humans have a weak memory and we have forgotten that America converted hundreds of thousands of living men, women, children into pieces of meat through its aerial machinery, no one was there to cry over them or collect them. Families vanished away in this American barbarism. Now a decade has completed to US attack over Afghanistan. In this decade what type of the torture is which has not been practiced in Afghanistan by state terrorists of US, more than 1 million Afghans have been killed by these Dracula. In spite of weapons, hatred, tortures Americans have not been able to control Afghans. Now America wants to run away from Afghanistan but with a respectful manner and under this hypothesis that by killing Osama US has been victorious. The ten years America has passed in Afghanistan by the support of Northern Alliance. America gave free hand to India for terrorism in Pakistan. The war against terrorism has been shifted from Afghanistan to Pakistan. But the freedom fight of Afghans had not weakened. Pushing Pakistan into war situation had not benefited American and Indian war experts. American media has already been doin this propaganda that Pakistan is cheating US (what about US state terrorists present within Pakistan), but our so called intellectuals, journalists, masters of media, representatives of civil society i.e. our anchors are trying to leave behind US and Indian propagandists to prove that Indian and American investment is not in vain. They wish that army not only crushes all those who resist against American fascism, but also accepts India as Boss. However after failure of all their struggles they have now started criticizing Pakistan army  as a department. The strange fact is that those faces are on the front in this mission who are observed lightening lamps during Deewali celebrations overt he Wahga border. This force against Pakistan army is directly being monitored and controlled from New Delhi and Washington. Our anchors use the same words used by agents of RAW and CIA. They are repeating accuses as India says.

                In an publication of 16 June New York Times claimed that Pakistan has arrested 5 person working for CIA including an on duty Major. These people were looking after the alleged hideout of Islamabad. American newspaper published this news in such a way as Pakistan has breached some international law (look at the mentality of blood thirsty Americans). In spite of condemning American violations of international borders Pakistan and ISI were condemned.

                After two days of this news, Washington Post and New York Times published another news that anti-American emotions have increased in Pakistan. The arrest of five agents of CIA is the result of increased internal pressure over General Kiyani. Moreover, General Kiyani is struggling to save his designation. In the news, it was also said that General Kiyani has to face questions from army officers during his address to National Defense University and many such like negative reports were part of the articles of these Western Newspapers.

These children were killed by US bombers without telling their crime

                Before this, US was busy in propaganda against Pakistan army regarding aid to Pakistan. In reaction to this first time in the press release issued after Core Commanders Conference rejected American claim and clarified that actual amount is less than 10% what America claims and out of it only 1% has been utilized by Pakistan while other was used by federal govt. in budget. Americans were not ready for such disclosure and rejection by Pak Army. The instant reaction was observed from few anchors relating Pakistani electronic media in the form of criticism. In just 4 days more than 15 programs were aired by different TV channels. Astonishing fact is that in more than half of these programs Aasma Jahangir participated and criticized army herself.

General Kiyani! According to American media he is under severe criticism internally

                In a program in spite of protesting against massacre of minorities in India, gang rapes of women in Indian Held Kashmir and murder of innocent children, wearing Hindu traditional color and to express solidarity with Hindu extremists, a women of such great qualities Aasma Jahangir said criticizing Pak-Army, “Until Islam is present into Pakistan Army the peace in the region and stability of Pakistan is impossible”. However later she realized for this to happen it is necessary that Pakistani nation should become atheist. Because the army personnel are children of Muslim Pakistanis, so she at once changed her point and said, “Either save country or Army”. All this was said in a talk show conducted in commemoration of Saleem Shahzad. In this program anchor said while pointing to the camera, “you lay weapons in front of enemy and now you will have to lay weapons in front of us too”. Obviously, he was pointing towards Pakistan army and ISI. Now this can be clarified only by respected anchor that in which type of conspiracy he is involved like the one that was planned by India in 1971.

                Our anchors crushing our own army think that they have won some great achievement (maybe do so by uplifting their life standard to elite class, using bullet proof Land cruisers, enjoying their time in clubs etc. all on the expense of American and Indian agencies). However, this process may not continue for long time. Because the center of propaganda against Pakistan and ISI is realizing that anti-American emotions are increasing in both army and public of Pakistan. These emotions can become a severe problem for India in the future. Keeping this fact in mind American newspaper LosAngeles Times advised in its editorial to American congress and Pentagon that aggressive behavior towards Pakistan should be ended now…

Hindu/Jews nexus against Pakistan is not a conspiracy theory but a bitter reality...

Costs are not increasing in the country by months or weeks but on daily peace, unemployment has become a serious problem. The bribery, corruption, lawlessness it on its peak. On the other hand the pessimism being spread by TV Channels, after watching all this youth questions that what will be the future of Pakistan? Will they get employed or not? If they succeeded in securing any nominal job will they be able to make the both ends meet? What will become of children’s education? If any one in the house falls ill than how will they get medicine, and if they get medicine who will guarantee that it is genuine?

                Not only this, they also want to know about elites riding luxury vehicles, living in posh areas, that who are they? What are their sources of income, if they are Pakistani than why they do not have living standard like public? Why the educational institutions and curriculum being taught there is different? But no one is there to reply these questions, not even those anchorpersons have any answer to these questions wearing branded and costly suits and discussing problems of public day and night. Perhaps these rich intellectuals  is not to bring forward problems of public but “something else”.

                After knowing facts like that India spends 15 billions annually on the persons who are against construction of Kala Bagh Dam, our youth has the right to ask that what is the role of Indian finance behind extravagancy of our elites? Moreover in order to spread lawlessness how much and where Indians are investing?

                Our young generations wants to know the meaning of American demands of DO MORE and operation in tribal areas? They are worried over deaths of their fellow citizens in Drone attacks. On American attacks or extra judicial murders the silence of UNO and West is also cause of agitation in our youth. They are astonished that UNO, human rights organizations and international journalist associations keep silent over the use of such chemical in missiles fired by drones that the person who survive has to live a very miserable life, but on the death a young man by Rangers awakes all these so called human right activists to protests. They foresee that Pakistani nukes are about to fall in the hands of extremists.

                Our youth wants to know that when his own Security Guard murders Governor of Punjab why an order to complete the trial within 30 days is issued. In the court a murderer murders two living human beings in front of the judge and elopes away calmly, no one orders to judge, IG Police or higher ones to resign. No one feels need to show these crimes on TV Screens repeatedly.

They want to know about the suicide attacks over Masajid, Imam Bargahs, hotels, cities, and security forces, who are the attackers? The masterminds of these attacks want to benefit which country by weakening defense of Pakistan? If all this is result of sectarian clash, why it is only in Pakistan and not in other Islamic countries?

                Will our rich intellectuals and anchors like to give satisfactory answer to these questions or not (they will not because they are not paid for it). However European analyst Peter Chamberlin has unveiled few causes behind problems of Pakistan in his report;

Strike and Crush Pakistan

He writes discussing mutual cooperation between Hindus and Jews against Pakistan, that India and Israel were working against Pakistan for a long time. In these plans apparently the construction of new reserves of water were given priority, but covertly the prupose of all these plans is to use aggressive water policy to fulfill the dream of Akhand Bharat. Because is not working against Pakistan but in the East against Bangladesh to use water as a weapon.

                Not only this Isabelle Saint Mazari has disclosed in famous daily of western Europe LE MONDE DIPLOMATIQUE that India has succeeded in securing a deal of supply of drones with Israel. In this regard India has already launched a SPY SATTELITE with the help of Israel in 2009. While in contrast to this Pakistan is begging to USA for drone technology since last three years.  

                Both countries were using all of their resources to convert regional disputes into civil war, however for this secret agencies of these countries did not have any mutual department. In 2001 after long discussion defense ministers of both countries agreed to establish a mutual network of RAW and MOSSAD. Pakistan is the only target of this network. Initially above mentioned mutual secret agency established a special cell with the help of Indian film industry to discover chances to work within Pakistan. The duty of this cell was to establish contacts with politicians, actors, big businessmen, industrialists and media to accept Indian activities by using Indian actresses. After this these people fond of Indian actresses and youth of elite class were trapped to be used in anti-Pakistan activities. With all these influential Pakistanis the gatherings with Indian actresses were arranged in Dubai. Moreover Indian Foregin Ministry was given special orders to issue quick visas to Pakistani actors and spectators of Indian musical shows within India. When these Pakistanis arrived into India they were warmly welcomed. According to the above mentioned report including Katrina Kaif many other Indian actresses work for MOSSAD and RAW. Their targets included Arabs as well. Another duty of this special cell of Israel and India is to create pessimism in Pakistan. For this special cell more than necessary finances were specified and they were declared free from audit or accountability (if these resources have been used to uplift the poor in India there would not have been so many freedom movements).

                Keeping in mind internal situation of Pakistan and construction of dams by India over Pakistani rivers it is obvious that India and Israel are successfully fulfilling their plans. But painful fact is that a group of intellectuals (paid by anti-Pakistan forces) affecting public opinion denies these bitter realities as CONSPIRACY THEORIES and is busy in deceiving public through beautiful wordiness. Although famous Indian weekly OUTLOOK disclosed the India-Israel cooperation in its addition of 18^th February 2008. It was revealed by this weekly that Israel has sent its troops during Kargil war on the request of New Delhi, because after Pakistan had shot down two Indian Mig fighters and arrested Indian pilots their morale has been declined to zero. This edition also includes the interview of Israeli ambassador to India MARK SOFER in which he accepts the secret cooperation between both countries, perhaps that is why it was published with the headline;

                “THE SECRET PART OF INDO-ISRAEL DEFENCE TIES WILL REMAIN A SECRET”

However I am sure that our intellectuals and anchor persons will declare the hidden massages within the interview of Israeli ambassador as Conspiracy Theory as well, than they should consult speech of Israeli Prime Minister DAVID BEN GURION in 1976 which is seen as sacred document by Jews. I would like to include a paragraph;

THE WORLD ZIONIST MOVEMENT SHOULD NOT BE NEGLECTFUL OF THE DANGERS OF PAKISTAN TO IT, AND PAKISTAN NOW SHOULD BE ITS FIRST TARGET. FOR THIS IDEOLOGICAL STATE IS A THREAT TO OUR EXISTENCE AND PAKISTAN THE WHOLE OF IT HATES THE JEWS AND LOVE ARABS. THIS LOVER ARAB IS MORE DANGEROUS TO US THAN THE ARABS THEMSELVES. FOR THAT MATTER IT IS MOST ESSENTIAL FOR WORLD ZIONISM THAT IT NOW TAKE STEPS AGAINST PAKISTAN. This is the time to stand with Our Army…!

What was the number of terrorists in Mumbai attacks no one has been able to claim with sure. According to Indian officials, they were 10 in number. If we accept Indian claim, 2 men in the Taj Hotel gave tough time to a Brigade of Indian army of 78 hours. In order to record the operational activity of Indian army at least 200 cameras of Indian and international TV channels were installed but no one was allowed to capture the scenes. Not only this India had not disclosed the recording of security cameras installed in Taj hotel. However only 2 state TV channels were allowed to record some of the scenes while only screened and specially clips of this recording were issued to media. Utilizing these clips Indian media started propaganda campaign against Pakistan and ISI.

                From the sound of first bullet Indian channels has started their Breaking News by blaming Pakistan and ISI (as terrorists before the attacks informed them). On the midnight of 4^th day of the attacks while Indian soldiers were riding into their trucks to return back, garlands were presented to t hem and people to praise them chanted slogans. While during all this local media of Mumbai, journalists and people were raising their protests that Mumbai attacks were staged to kill Chief of ATS Hemant Karkare and his team. According to them this attack was mutually planned by Indian Army, RAW and RSS. So that terrorists like on duty Indian army officers Colonel Purohit and extremists from Hindu groups could be saved as Hemant Karkare had not only arrested them but also succeeded in getting confession from them in court that they were involved in terrorist attacks like Samjhota Express and other bomb blasts. However Indian army succeeded in successfully disposing off Hemant Karkare by winning the support of Indian public through the support of Indian media and effective propaganda campaign.

                In contrast to this when on the night of 22 May terrorists attacked Mehran Airbase of Pakistan Navy, dozen of channels arrived at the spot and telecasted live videos by zooming in. they were not only discussing the movements of troops but identity of the regiments as well and they were telling that on this building commandoes are being dropped through helicopter. On the other hand anchorpersons sitting in their studios were raising questions over capability of Pakistan army. Every channel was busy in criticizing Pakistan armed forces. No one raised this point that if their camera can cover the movements in the night through zoom in than why in normal situation  any terrorist cannot record the movements within the PNS Mehran from roofs of adjacent houses or windows? Cannot such recordings be used by terrorists to plan the attacks and send them to his control room in their headquarter. So that after watching these recordings terrorists can chose weak point of security and chose proper time for attack.

                Our TV channels focused on a search light that it is out of order while the other was destroyed by terrorists by firing bullets, but no one dared to point out that when the area out of the boundary of PNS Mehran is dark due to load -shedding for 1, 1 hour, than has govt. made any policy to tackle this? Leaving PNS Mehran aside in all the cities there are thousands of such sensitive installations, which are drowned into the dark of night due to load-shedding. Alas! Any journalist had time to inform people that how many armed departments have alternate solution to load shedding or constant supply of heavy diesel for heavy duty generators? If the sensitive areas lightened inside while outwards are covered by dark will not this situation be suitable for attackers?

                Ok lets accept that there was no external security outside Mehran Airbase, which is not possible as Pakistan does not have extra security of 10 hundred thousand persons to watch these sensitive installations from outside (while same anchorpersons are always objecting the presence of Pakistan army at all and defense budget). 10-12 hours passed to get control over these terrorists, but the question is how rocket launchers, grenade, and other latest weapons arrived into Mehran, who is responsible to check this on the way, Lineman of WAPDA, meter reader of gas, plumber of water board or postal worker of post? If all this is responsibility of army or ISI than why should not end all those departments taking pays in the name of enforcement of law? Whole country is filled with illegal weapons to such extent that people murder in front of judge within the court and walk away calm fully while no one dares to stop them or question them. In spite of all this we are not ready to accept the we are at the verge of not only economic but social collapse as well. Actually daily murders in the form of target killing, increasing crimes and suicide bomb blasts had made us senseless to our surroundings. Other wise how is it possible that a terrorist is living within my neighborhood and I am unaware of their suspicious activities? If I know all this and does not inform security agencies than either I don’t have trust over Police or I am coward, in both situations govt. and overall social structure is responsible for this. Otherwise if a brothel house is opened in any Mohallah or Bungalow Police Touts arrive there to take the bribe than how is this possible that terrorists move around with rocket launchers and Police is unaware of this?

                The reality is that Pakistani forces and ISI are in complete battle situation internally due to American interests in Afghanistan. In this war their secret agencies are also busy in this complex war. This war is not against formal enemy on the boundaries but against well trained gorilla force, our enemies are not only providing this force with latest weapons but with the dollars and man power. While in such critical situation Pakistani media is also attacking Pakistan army and ISI. Not only this factors unhappy with the timely intervention of Pakistan army in political problems (when politicians are about to sell this country), are also taking their revenge. Without taking this in mind that this propaganda campaign against Pakistan army will result in lost of trust of Pakistani people on army, this will at once decrease the morale of Pakistan army effecting the soldiers busy in fighting against enemies on the battle front. Are we aware of its results? Perhaps not and I am sure that majority of anchor persons criticizing Pakistan army just to earn easy money are not aware of the results as well but our enemy understands this. That when morale of the army is destroyed, soldiers are criticized in spite of all of their sacrifices of lives, than army facing enemy like unbreakable wall breaks from inside.

                Look at the dreadful murder of journalist Saleem Shahzad, some anchorpersons are claiming that he has been assassinated by ISI. Because he was about to unveil the links between terrorists attacking Mehran base  and Navy officials and in this regard one of his episodes had been already published. Now if we accept this hypothesis that attackers were supported within the Navy than who will answer this question that why terrorists ignored Lynx Sea King (Anti-Submarine aircraft), Alleolte, latest Atlantic helicopters, new and costly airplane of Naval Chief HBC Jet and airplanes of Pakistan Airforce but they just targeted Orion EC3 airplanes, but at least why? Has destruction of these airplanes is loss of only Pakistan Navy? No! this is a serious blow to our defense. This has deprived us of our superiority against Indian nuclear sub-marines.

                Look at the unique aspect of above mentioned secret war imposed over Pakistan, that how much cleverly such situation has been created that our soldiers are facing enemies, sacrificing their lives but in spite of all this they are being trialed and criticized. Media is demanding answers politically of purely battle related incidents. While politicians are showing such unresponsiveness as they want to tell public, “they have no link with this war, it is a war of army and soldiers and only they should face it”, (because they have not time from political battle for power and conspiracies).

                Here I would like to mention article written by B. Ramin Ex-Chief of Indian secret agency RAW now working Director of Institute for Tropical Studies, Chennai (think tank of RAW). This article was published online on 1 June, the title of the article is sufficient to unveil the hidden propaganda and poisonous message behind this article of 19 paragraphs. The title of above mentioned article is

“Was Saleem Shahzad On Trial of ISI Men Behind OBI’s Stay At Abbottabad”

here I would like to copy only three paragraphs from his article, lets think over it that why the thinking of our anchorpersons and RAW agents are so much same and why such coincident occur only in Pakistan that whatever propaganda is going on by India few of our intellectuals are also supporting it as well…

It is apparent that Shahzad was killed either because of what he reported in his dispatch of May 27 regarding the penetration of the Navy by Al Qaeda or because of what he intended reporting about the training camps of the 303 Brigade.
Thus both the ISI and the 303 Brigade had a common motive for having him eliminated. Was their decision to eliminate him only related to his story on the Mehran attack or was there more to it? Whoever took the decision to eliminate him was in a desperate hurry. He was kidnapped within 43 hours of the first part being published. He would have most probably dispatched the second part in the week beginning May 30. His captors wanted to do away with him before that.
Well-informed contacts in the Pakistani Police say that his kidnapping and murder were related not only to his investigation into the Mehran attack, but also his investigation into the local support base of OBL which facilitated his undetected stay for over five years at Abbottabad. His investigations post-May 2 were dangerously moving that direction. His discovery of the penetration of the Navy by Al Qaeda was only the first step in his investigation. According to these police sources, he was digging deeper into OBL’s support base.

MGM-A Unique Master Piece of Architecture

Our world is full of beautiful and colorful sights created by nature. On the one hand there are high mountains while on the other hand there is roaring ocean and in the mid there are streams and waterfalls singing beautiful melodies. In the other words animals, birds, rainbow, botanical and marine life and most important of all of these human beings are a beautiful contrast of nature’s creativity. The beauty of nature on its place, human beings have also added many beautiful buildings to this landscape. This process had started thousands of years ago and is still going on. Many tourists are visiting these buildings to see the masterpieces of these architects, see, and feel the revolution of architect. So that they can understand how our ancestors used to live thousands of years ago. Historians take architects as artists and their unique creations as masterpieces of art. These artists have been constructing the buildings according to their natural way of living, climate, and economical situation. Some of these buildings have been able to survive the wear and tear of time, earthquakes, and storms. One of these masterpieces is the building of MGM (Multan Garrison Mess). It is a masterpiece of architect and example of its own. This building consisting of 13 domes of different sizes was constructed in 1880. The sad aspect is that no research has been done on this building constructed by the clay (Gachee Mitti) of Chenab River. No such struggle has been done on the govt. level. Just because this building is situated in Multan, like Multan the history of this building of 13 domes is also silent. There is nothing saved in the paper, whatever is known has been transferred from heart to heart/folk. This is also a truth that except few buildings of Turkey whose walls consists of 9 or 11 domes there is no other building having so many numbers of domes of different sizes but geometrically same. The international passengers travelling through airplanes also get interested into this moon of 13 domes dazzling in the dark, but they have no knowledge about this building except the dirt, heat, beggars and graveyards of Multan. Before writing anything about the building I would like to briefly disucss the history of construction of domes.

                The historians of architect divide architecgture into 12 stages;

Although historically many things are different from in these styles of architecture from each other, but few features are mutual as well, one of them is dome. As today’s topic is building of MGM, the unique thing in it is are its domes so we will be discussing only domes.

                Thousands of years the inhabitants of Egypt believed that after death the souls keep hovering in the air/space as there is no facility for their stay. Keeping this hypothesis in mind the construction of dome started in Egypt. This dome was like the shape of an egg. In order to construct this dome, the woods of same angle, or young stems of trees were fixed into the ground in circles and were joined together in the upper end. These lumbers were covered with straws and plastered with clay, this formed the shape of an ugly dome after it got dried. This dome like room was specified for the people who were about to die and their relatives. After the death, the body was disposed off as per custom. But according to the belief it was imagined that the dead is living within the dome. One dome was believed to be sufficient for other soul of the died people in the family. According to the historians this dome was known as Abode. Gradually Egyptians started making bricks from the clay of Nile River and after drying them up the construction of four walled room started. So the construction of dome also got much developed. In spite of straight roofs over the rooms the domes made of wood were being constructed. Till this time human being were not aware of the skill to build arch. Romans first of all got aware of arch building art.

                Romans used stones for construction, first of all stones were fixed over one another and the walls were constructed, afterwards the roof was built by the wooden boards. For the elites of Romans, collective warm baths were constructed. These baths of warm water were only used by king or his relatives. The steam from the warm water was not convenient for the bathers so the research for construction of dome started. Although the dome was built of stones but in order to support them timber was used. In the high end of the dome a small hole was left so that steam can find its way out.

                The art of building the dome through arch, putting bricks step by step was developed by the Mesopotamians (Arabs) living in present Iraq, Syria and Lebanon, who were religious less till than. These domes of 10 feet diameter were constructed only over the worship places, perhaps this is why dome and Masjid became necessary for each other.

                In following them Romans decided to show off their skills and built a dome of 100 feet which was constructed over the building of a temple. This was named as Pantheon i.e. Temple of All Gods. The whole century was spent in its construction, completed 124 years after the birth of Respected Eessa (Christ).

                After 300 years of Christ’s birth Byzantine architecture started, which spread like perfume due to its beauty and beautiful carvings, dome had a pivotal role in these buildings. Domes were made beautiful by carvings and gold work.

The masterpiece of Byzantine architect, the museum of Hajiya Sufiya is still present in the Istanbul. This was constructed in 532 as a church, but afterwards when Byzantines accepted Islam they changed it into Masjid. Afterwards due to dispute between two religions it was converted into a museum. In this building on the single roof, there are nine domes. Keeping in mind this marvelous building Byzantine architecture got popular in Italy, Greek and in Balkan states. From here, this art arrived into subcontinent with the addition of carvings and tiles from Russia, Samarkand, Bukhara, Afghanistan, and Iran. If we say that dome got a central role in Islam and became symbol of Islam than this will not be wrong. Although there are domes of 120 feet diameter over the famous church of St. Peters in Rome, but dome became symbol of Islam. After watching the Masjid in Istanbul by Sultan Ahmad which has 11 domes, famous architectural historian Sir Christopher Wren had said, “this is only and unique masterpiece of Islamic architecture, all other buildings are inferior in front of it”.

                Lets come back towards MGM, the resident specified by English used to stay in lahore who was known as Punjab State Resident. Bahawalpur State had developed friendly relations with English. In order to further these relations English resident allotted 7.63 acres to Nawab Bahawalpur, where MGM is situated now. According to the stories told by elders Nawab Bahawalpur who was of Turk accent, constructed a building on this place on Turkish architecture by making clay bricks from Chenab river. Who was the architect and engineer of this building, the names of artisans, it is unknown. But it is known that at the time of construction no Damp Proof was used in the foundations of the building. The reason behind this is that at that time the ground water level of Multan was low, so walls were safe from damping. So there was no concept of damp proof at that time.

                According to elders when English specified boundaries of Multan cantonment the area between old Bahawalpur road, Kalma Chowk to Chowk Sadu Hasam was included into Cantonment. On the present railway club’s land there was Bahawalpur house, and adjacent to this were residents of English railway officers. But afterwards the boundaries of cantonment were squeezed to present cantonment and the remaining area was allotted to Khan Bahadur Hassan Bakhsh Gardezi. In this way the building of MGM was also taken back from Nawab of Bahawalpur and allotted to Hassan Bakhash Gardezi.

                The record present in military land office is present till 22 January 1943, when the record was made for the bungalows and their residents in Multan cantonment. According to this record at that time the MGM was owned by Mrs. MP. B. Aughton. Afterwards this building was transferred to Mr. MRS. A Baughton. In 1944 this building was transferred to MRS. MP Bone. On 2 November, this building was allotted to Syed Jalil Abbas Gardezi son of Khan Bahadur Hassan Bakhash Gardezi. After partition, this building was renamed as Services Club in 1947. Before this English has been using this building as a club, they had constructed a big floor of wood in the hall for dance. In 1965 this building was allotted to Armed Division.

                The adjacent lawn and plants had made the walls of the building wet and dampened. English had also been repairing the building time by time. But after 1970 the building got much old and clay domes were affected by the wear and tear. Till 1990 the building was in so much poor situation that it was feared that it will fell down, so it was being planned that building should be destroyed and than a modern building should be constructed on this place. But few players playing tennis in the lawn of this building from last 30 years were of the view that this heritage of Multan should be saved. The name of Engineer Tahir Bisharat Cheema is on the top among the list of these people. Tahir had started a campaign to save this building along with his friends.

                At least the struggle of Tahir got fruit and Commander of 1-Armoured Division Major General Muhammad Yousaf got ready to preserve the building in the present condition. Major General Yousaf convinced Lt. General Karamat Commander of 2-Core. Luckily when both officers decided that this building will be saved, after short time Lt. General Jahangir Karamat was promoted as Chief of Armed Forces. In 1996 Services Club (MGM) was reconstructed by experts of architecture in such a way that its historical shape was hundred percent restored. Extra rooms of the building were demolished. The lawns around the building were pushed far from the building and concrete pavements were built between the building and the lawns so that the water does not harm the walls of the building. In the building the modern floor of marble was constructed, the doors and windows were made of Sagwan wood. The domes which were made of clay bricks were converted into concrete domes in such a way that everyone was astonished. All the corridors of the building were opened and the pillars of Andersen style further increased the beauty of the building.

                In this way in 1997 building was renamed as 1997. In 1880 this building was constructed according to the climate of Multan in such a way that even in the month of june or july one does not feel hot. At the time when the building was beig reconstructed it was revealed that building does not have any deep foundation. Just hard ground was leveled up and the walls were constructed straightly over it. Although now concrete walls have been constructed around the clay walls of the building but this has been proved that their was no custom in Multan to lay deep foundations because there were not enough rains.

                However this is a bitter reality that if MGM had been situated in somewhere else except Southern Punjab, many books would have been written over it, documentaries would have been recorded. Everyday photos would have been shot, its pictures would have appeared on calendars from different angles as national heritage. Our link with this building can be imagined from this point that this building is not mentioned in the websites made about Multan. This is the only inevitable point for cultural and musical shows due to its environment and arrangement…
